Florida gas prices fell 20 cents last week.<\/p>\n

On Sunday, the state average for gas went from $4.43 per gallon to $4.23 per gallon, according to AAA \u2013 The Auto Club Group.<\/p>\n

Those prices are still higher than the $3.06 per gallon consumers paid around this time last year.<\/p>\n

\u201cMemorial Day travelers will pay about $17 more than last year to fill an average sized tank of gas,\u201d said spokesman Mark Jenkins.<\/p>\n

The Iran conflict and concerns about the global supply have kept the pressure up on fuel prices.<\/p>\n

Jenkins said this could last through the summer unless the conflict is resolved.<\/p>\n

There is a chance state prices could jump this week based on recent gains in the oil market, according to AAA.<\/p>\n

The most expensive markets are West Palm Beach-Boca Raton ($4.42), Gainesville ($4.36) and Tallahassee ($4.32).<\/p>\n

The least expensive markets are Pensacola ($4.07), Panama City ($4.09) and Crestview-Fort Walton Beach ($4.09).<\/p>\n
