Four major Orlando sports franchises are coming together to honor the 10-year anniversary of the Pulse nightclub shooting.<\/p>\n

Orlando City SC and Orlando Pride announced Monday a collaboration with the Magic and the Solar Bears to release a special-edition \u201c10 Years of Orlando United\u201d commemorative T\u2011shirt that honors the 10\u2011year anniversary of the original \u201cOrlando United\u201d program created in the aftermath of the 2016 tragedy.<\/p>\n

All proceeds from the sale of the shirt will be donated to The Center Orlando by way of the Orlando Soccer Foundation, ensuring that \u201cfunds directly support programs, services and initiatives that continue to uplift survivors, honor the 49 lives lost and advance equality across Central Florida,\u201d the team said.<\/p>\n

\u201cTen years later, the impact of Pulse continues to shape who we are as a community,\u201d Kaia Forget, vice president of community impact and DEI for Orlando City SC and Pride, said. \u201cThis collaboration reflects our responsibility to stand together, support one another and champion love in all its forms just as our city did in the aftermath of the tragedy a decade ago.\u201d<\/p>\n

Designed jointly by the four clubs, the shirt features the iconic \u201cOrlando United\u201d heart along with a ribbon commemorating the anniversary.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Orlando Magic and Orlando Solar Bears are honored to be a part of this collaboration and stand together with Orlando City SC and Orlando Pride in remembrance of the 49 lives tragically lost 10 years ago,\u201d Magic president of business operations Charlie Freeman said. \u201cWe stand in support of the survivors, families, loved ones and all those whose lives were forever changed by the Pulse tragedy.<\/p>\n
