The business will feature a series of minigames, a mix of physical and mental challenges.\u00a0 There will be choices of challenge rooms that require cooperation, one-on-one duels and an art-based scavenger hunt.\u00a0 Among the games set for new Walt Disney World location are axe run, an agility test amid swinging axes; ninja swing, a ropes course of increasing difficulty; and mansion banquet, a series of logic puzzles themed to a dinner party.<\/p>\n

LEVEL99 will operate in the West Side neighborhood of the shopping and entertanment complex, in the space previously (though briefly) occupied by the NBA Experience attraction, which opened in August 2019 then closed during Disney World\u2019s pandemic shutdown in 2020 and never reopened. Remodeling has been completed on the exterior and interior of the building, of which Level99 occupies 46,800 square feet.<\/p>\n

The building stands on the general footprint of the former DisneyQuest attraction, although that structure was demolished after that gaming venue closed in 2017.<\/p>\n

There are currently three LEVEL99 locations operating in Massachusetts, Rhode Island and Virginia, with four more under construction in Connecticut, Pennsylvania, New Jersey and North Carolina.\u00a0 LEVEL99 games are development by the company in its production facility in Massachusetts, and the challenges are rotated between locations. The Disney Springs location, first announced in February 2025, will have 63 minigames and challenges, the most of any of the LEVEL99 locations.<\/p>\n

\u201cAs a company founded on innovation and groundbreaking themed entertainment, it is a natural fit to now be at a place built on those very same ideals,\u201d Matt DuPlessie, LEVEL99\u2019s founder and CEO, said in a news release.<\/p>\n
