Walt Disney World has released images of the Scooter animatronic ahead of the Muppet-style reopening of Rock \u2018n\u2019 Roller Coaster at Disney\u2019s Hollywood Studios.<\/p>\n

The figure will be seen in the redecorated queue for the thrill ride, scheduled to open to the public May 26.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s the first\u2011ever animatronics of Scooter, Disney says. Imagineers built the figure by using motion-capture technology of the Scotter puppet in order to move like Scooter should.<\/p>\n

In the new Rock \u2018n\u2019 Roller Coaster storyline, Scooter\u2019s uncle is owner of G Force Records, which has the Electric Mayhem as one of its acts. Scooter must persuade the group to stop playing and meet their fans across town. They\u2019ll use a Muppet Labs development \u2014 the Lengthy Immediate Motion Object \u2014 to make it, Disney says.<\/p>\n

The company also posted photos of the ride\u2019s star-turn cameos posing with Muppets including Orlando\u2019s Wayne Brady (with Miss Piggy and Kermit the Frog), Neil Patrick Harris (with Gonzo) and Darren Criss (with Rowlf). Other announced celebs incorporated into the attraction include\u00a0Awkwafina, Travis Barker, Yvette Nicole Brown, John Stamos, \u00a0Danny Trejo and \u201cWeird Al\u201d Yankovic.<\/p>\n

The exterior of the indoor coaster also has been tweaked, including a funky repainting of the enormous guitar that fronts the attraction.<\/p>\n

Disney previously announced the ride\u2019s playlist, a group of five tunes that includes \u201cBorn to Be Wild\u201d and \u201cLove Rollercoaster.\u201d<\/p>\n
