Skeletal remains were found off of International Drive near Walt Disney World over the weekend, according to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies responded to a call around 9:30 p.m. Saturday to the intersection of I-Drive and Continental Gateway near the Holiday Inn Resort Orlando Suites and the Orlando World Center Marriott.
Two individuals had discovered the remains as they walked in the area, the sheriff’s office said Monday. Much of the surrounding vicinity is wooded.

Deputies have not yet identified the remains or determined a cause of death. The sheriff’s office did not provide any other details.
