Florida gas prices fell 20 cents last week.
On Sunday, the state average for gas went from $4.43 per gallon to $4.23 per gallon, according to AAA – The Auto Club Group.

Those prices are still higher than the $3.06 per gallon consumers paid around this time last year.
“Memorial Day travelers will pay about $17 more than last year to fill an average sized tank of gas,” said spokesman Mark Jenkins.
The Iran conflict and concerns about the global supply have kept the pressure up on fuel prices.

Jenkins said this could last through the summer unless the conflict is resolved.
There is a chance state prices could jump this week based on recent gains in the oil market, according to AAA.
The most expensive markets are West Palm Beach-Boca Raton ($4.42), Gainesville ($4.36) and Tallahassee ($4.32).
The least expensive markets are Pensacola ($4.07), Panama City ($4.09) and Crestview-Fort Walton Beach ($4.09).
