The Wish-class Disney Destiny will move from Fort Lauderdale to homeport at Port Canaveral starting in November 2027. As it unveiled its fall 2027 and spring 2028 itineraries, Disney Cruise Line also announced a return to New York City for the first time since 2023 with the Disney Wish, maiden calls in Panama and more cruises from San Juan, Puerto Rico.
“Disney Cruise Line is proud to be a leader in family cruising, helping our guests create lasting memories in even more destinations,” said Tracy Wilson, senior vice president and general manager of Disney Cruise Line Operations, in a news release.
The Disney Wish has the most destination updates of any of the cruise line’s vessels as it arrives in New York in late September 2027 after the ship’s inaugural season in Europe. During five of these voyages, the ship will sail to Bermuda, and three itineraries visit Canada and New England to see fall colors.
In November 2027, the Disney Magic will embark on a 14-night voyage eastbound from San Diego through the Panama Canal ending in Galveston with a stop in Panama City. In March 2028, as the ship heads westbound on a two-week journey through the Panama Canal, the ship will stop in Colón, Panama, for the first time.
Once all three Wish-class ships are in Port Canaveral next fall, the Disney Destiny will sail itineraries ranging from three to seven nights in the Bahamas and Western Caribbean. Disney Wish will sail three- and four-night Bahamian cruises stopping at Disney Castaway Cay and Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point. Disney Treasure will sail weeklong sailings to the Eastern and Western Caribbean with ports such as Tortola, British Virgin Islands, and Falmouth, Jamaica.

The Disney Dream will also sail three- and four-night Bahamian cruises before repositioning to Fort Lauderdale in November 2027. The Disney Fantasy will sail from Port Canaveral through November 2027 before repositioning to San Juan, Puerto Rico, for two sailings and Fort Lauderdale for the remainder of the season.
The cruise line’s newest and largest ship, the Disney Adventure, continues to sail from Singapore with three- and four-night itineraries. Select sailings next spring will feature a new port of call: Langkawi, Malaysia.
The schedule announcement does not make mention of the Disney Believe, the cruise line’s forthcoming Wish-class ship debuting in late 2027. More details about the new vessel are expected on Oct. 7 during a livestream event.
