After announcing over-the-air broadcast partners throughout Central, West and North Florida in recent days and weeks, the Magic shared Thursday morning that DAZN, a sports entertainment platform, will serve as the team’s exclusive direct-to-consumer streaming partner in the region for the 2026-27 NBA season.

The Magic previously announced agreements with TV stations  WRDQ-TV 27 and WFTV-Channel 9 to broadcast most regular-season games in Orlando, WMOR-TV in Tampa, WTGB 34.3 in Gainesville, WJHG 7.6 in Panama City, and WCTV 6.3 in Tallahassee.

Here’s what it all means for Magic fans who don’t have access to those TV channels:

  • For fans who live in the Magic’s local market, all Magic regular-season games, excluding national TV exclusives, will stream on DAZN.
  • For fans who live outside the team’s local market, or outside the state of Florida entirely, all Magic regular-season games, excluding national TV exclusives, will stream on NBA League Pass.

“We are excited to partner with DAZN to serve as our direct-to-consumer streaming partner for live games, replays, pregame and postgame coverage, and original programming,” Magic president of business operations Charlie Freeman said in a statement. “Coupled with the Cox Media Group (WRDQ TV 27, WFTV Channel 9), DAZN will provide Magic fans tremendous access to the team.”

Live games, alternative feeds, and original content through a new team-branded subscription service will launch on DAZN later this month, the team said. In addition, an Orlando Magic-focused subscription on DAZN will be available as a standalone service and also available as an add-on for existing DAZN subscribers.

Fans can start the season with a free seven-day trial before choosing the subscription that works best for them – as either a standalone service or as an add-on for existing DAZN subscribers, the team said. A monthly pass will be available for $19.99, while a season pass will cost $119.99, according to the team.

Magic season-ticket holders will receive a 20% discount on season pass subscriptions, the team said. Additional discounts and promotions will be offered throughout the season.

DAZN will also offer season pass ultimate and monthly pass ultimate plans priced at $139.99 per season and $24.99 per month, respectively. In addition to accessing all locally broadcast Magic games, ultimate subscribers will receive a one-time 20% discount to OrlandoMagicShop.com (restrictions apply, the team said). Ultimate subscribers will also gain access to additional concurrent streams and IP addresses per account, plus access to alternate feeds, camera angles and multi-view capability during broadcasts, according to the team.

As it stands, the Magic are set to have eight national TV games: Nov. 16 at Boston (NBCSN), Dec. 14 vs. Philadelphia (NBCSN), March 10 at Miami (ESPN), March 13 at Atlanta (Prime Video), March 22 vs. Indiana (NBCSN), March 28 vs. New York (ESPN), March 30 vs. New York (NBC) and April 5 vs. Miami (NBCSN).

DAZN is a global, privately owned company, founded in 2016, with more than 4,000 employees that streams more than 140,000 live events annually and is available in over 200 markets worldwide, according to the company.

“DAZN is transforming how fans follow their local teams, and partnering with the Orlando Magic is another important step in that strategy,” DAZN Group CEO Shay Segev said in a statement. “Fans want a modern, simple and reliable way to watch the team they love, and DAZN’s partnership with the Magic delivers an unmatched experience.

“DAZN’s innovative technology platform and the Magic’s strong local presence will create a service that enhances engagement, expands reach, and establishes a new standard for how teams connect with their fan community,” Segev added.
