Carla Jeffery from Disney’s “Zombies” franchise is dead at 33.
Her management team said the young star died on Tuesday.
“For more than 20 years we had the privilege of watching her grow into a beautiful, vibrant and incredibly talented woman whose radiant smile could light up and room,” talent manager Carla Alexander posted on social media.

Jeffery signed with Alexanders Talent Management when she was 12 years old, that announcement said. No cause of death was given.

Jeffery played “Zombies” character Bree in several movies, music videos and animated series dating back to 2018.
“As Bree in Disney’s hit ‘Zombies’ franchise, Carla shared her joy, humor, and bright spirit with audiences around the world,” her manager wrote. “Our hearts are with Carla’s family and loved ones during this devastating time.”
Jeffery’s friends and colleagues mourned her death on social media.
“This doesn’t feel real,” “Zombies” actor Chandler Kinney posted on Instagram alongside a photo of the stars together. “I feel so grateful to have known your love. I’m going to miss laughing with you, and watching you break out your signature splits on any & every dance floor.”
Their colleague Milo Manheim shared several images of him and Jeffery clowning around.

“Love you Carlaboo, the sweetest, kindest most loving person,” he wrote.
Jeffery, a Texas native, also appeared on 10 episodes of Larry David’s HBO show “Curb Your Enthusiasm” between 2007 and 2009.
She talked about breaking into show business despite being overweight in an August 2025 interview on “The Tokens Podcast with Giovonnie Samuels.”
“I’m almost 300 lb, but I got some moves and I’m going to show y’all,” Jeffery said. “I feel like my splits was what got me a couple things.”
Jeffery said in that interview that she managed to lose weight over the years, but still felt her physique limited the roles she was able to book.
