Those storms and showers are expected to hit from Daytona Beach down to the Orlando metro and southward along the immediate coast, according to NWS Melbourne.

Frequent lightning, gusty winds and locally heavy rains are possible.
Skies will be partly sunny and temperature highs will be around 90 degrees.
Winds are blowing west to northwest at 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph.
There is a moderate risk of rip currents at all Central Florida beaches.
Looking ahead, there is a marginal risk for severe storms on Tuesday, according to NWS Melbourne.

The main hazard of concern is damaging wind gusts of 60+ mph.
Frequent lightning, heavy rain and a brief funnel cloud or tornado is also possible.
