Orange County sheriff’s deputies are searching for the person who shot a woman while she waited at a bus stop Monday, leaving her in critical condition.

Deputies responded Monday morning to the 1000 block of Egan Drive after reports of a shooting, finding a woman in her 70s with a gunshot wound. She was taken to the hospital in critical condition, the sheriff’s office said in a news release.
