A 24-year-old man died and three other men were seriously injured after a crash on State Road 33 in Lake County early Sunday, Florida Highway Patrol said.

Around 6:20 a.m. the 24-year-old man was driving a 2026 Toyota Camry travelling northbound in the wrong lane of State Road 33 approaching Bakers Lane when he collided head on with a 33-year-old man driving a 2016 Dodge Journey, FHP said.
As a result of the collision the dodge became partially engulfed in flames, FHP said.

The 24-year-old died at the scene and the two passengers in his car, a 25-year-old man and a 23-year-old man, were taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center with serious injuries, FHP said.
The 33-year-old man was also taken to a nearby hospital with serious injures, FHP said.

The crash remains under investigation.
