Florida gas prices dropped 20 cents last week.

Gas prices continue dropping throughout the state, as they’ve declined 32 cents through the last 11 days.

A drop in the cost of crude oil has contributed to reduced gas prices, but those prices are still heavily influenced by the conflict in Iran.

Lower gas prices “come at an ideal time for summer travel,” however, “developments involving the Strait of Hormuz will continue to influence whether prices rise or fall,” said Mark Jenkins, AAA spokesman.

The most expensive metro markets are West Palm Beach-Boca Raton ($3.82), Miami ($3.75), Tallahassee ($3.74) and Fort Lauderdale ($3.71).

The cheapest markets are Pensacola ($3.41), Melbourne-Titusville ($3.48) and Crestview-Fort Walton Beach ($3.50).
