Walt Disney World has announced dates and some details about two Christmastime events, Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party at Magic Kingdom and Disney Jollywood Nights at Disney’s Hollywood Studios theme park.

Very Merry dates for 2026 are Nov. 8, 9, 12, 13, 15, 17, 19, 20, 24, 25, 27 and 29 plus Dec. 1, 3, 4, 6, 8, 10, 11, 13, 15, 17, 18, 20 and 22.  It starts up about a week after Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party ends at Magic Kingdom. Very Merry tickets go on sale to the general public July 16.  Prices vary by date and range from $189 to $229. (It’s $10 less for ages 3 to 9.)

Jollywood Nights event dates for 2026 are Nov. 7, 14, 16, 21, 23, 28; Dec. 5, 7, 12, 14, 19, 21; and Jan. 3, 5. That’s two more Jollywood Nights evenings than in 2025. Tickets also go on sale to the public on July 16. Ticket prices range between $169 and $199, depending on date. (There’s a $10 discount for ages 3 to 9.)

Both parties are after-hours, separately ticketed events with limited capacities.  Programming announced so far is similar to the holiday lineup for 2025.

The Very Merry event again will include “Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade,” “Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks,” “Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration” state show, the Frozen Holiday Surprise transformation of Cinderella Castle, dance parties, holiday overlays on attractions such as Space Mountain and Tomorrowland Speedway and some seasonal sweet treats.  Visitors can meet Santa Claus at Santa’s Christmas Carnival at Storybook Circus, and other character meet-and-greets will include Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse in holiday wear and Jack Skellington as Santa.

First ride: Disney’s Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster meets Muppets

Jollywood Nights, which skews a bit older and more musical, will feature “Disney Holidays in Hollywood” stage show with Miss Piggy and Kermit the Frog, the “Nightmare Before Christmas” sing-along, “Glisten!” skating show near the park’s Chinese Theater, the 1930s-style Twilight Soiree at the Tip Top Club in the Hollywood Tower Hotel courtyard, Jazzy Holidays experience at the Hollywood Brown Derby, “Jingle Bell, Jingle Bam” projections and an array of characters, including Stitch as Santa, Lotso from “Toy Story 3,” Duffy, the Mandalorian and Gorgu.   It will mark the holiday debut of Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring the Muppets.
