A 24-year-old man from Rockledge is dead after a fatal crash early Monday morning in Brevard County, the Florida Highway Patrol said.

At approximately 1:05 a.m., a 2018 Infiniti Q50, being driven by the man, was traveling southbound on Interstate 95 south of State Road 528 in the center lane, FHP said. A 2026 Volkswagen Taos, being driven by a 49-year-old Cynthia Willis from Palm Coast, was traveling in the same direction behind the sedan.
For an unknown reason, the Infiniti Q50 ran off the roadway left on the inside paved shoulder and struck the guardrail, FHP said. Debris from the crash struck the Volkswagen.

The man was pronounced dead on-scene, FHP said. Willis and a 4-year-old passenger were not injured.
FHP said Willis was arrested for driving under the influence and booked into the Brevard County jail.

This crash remains under investigation.
