Florida’s gas prices continue trending lower thanks to falling oil prices.
On Sunday, the state average for a gallon of gas was $3.83, according to AAA – The Auto Club Group.

The price is 3 cents more than a week ago, 56 cents less than a month ago and 88 cents more than this time last year.
Oil prices have been falling and a new report suggests they fell again overnight after the U.S. and Iran agreed to reopen the Strait of Hormuz.
“This is an encouraging sign for drivers, as lower oil prices typically lead to lower prices at the pump. However, this remains a fluid situation, and it’s unclear how quickly or how much gas prices may fall,” said AAA spokesman Mark Jenkins.

Sunday night’s crude oil traded around $80 per barrel, down 5% from Friday’s closing price at $84.88.
The most expensive metro markets are West Palm Beach-Boca Raton ($4.04), Naples ($3.94) and Fort Lauderdale ($3.92).
The least expensive markets are Pensacola ($3.52), Crestview-Fort Walton Beach ($3.63) and Panama City ($3.68).
