An industrial accident was reported a little after midnight, a facility that mass produces food products, according to Broward Fire Rescue Battalion Chief Michael Kane.
The worker was trying to address a problem with a large machine at the facility when he became trapped beneath the hopper arm of a conveyor belt, Kane said. First responders were not able to save the man, and paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene.
