A three-day law enforcement sting focused on sexual offenders and predators called Operation Offenders: Endgame resulted in 42 arrests and 168 felony registration violation charges, according to the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office.

In a Friday press release, the sheriff’s office said the operation also involved the Florida Department of Law Enforcement and the Florida Department of Corrections, focused on people residing Flagler County.
The operation also included a review of all 139 sex offenders and predators throughout the county.

“Operation Offenders: Endgame demonstrates our commitment to holding offenders accountable and safeguarding our community with proactive enforcement efforts,” Sheriff Rick Staly said. “Anyone living in Flagler County who is on the sex offender/predator list should see these arrests and understand the importance and consequences of not complying with their registration requirements.”
Some of the reasons why registered offenders fail to comply with Florida’s registration requirements include failure to report vehicles, phone numbers, email addresses and internet identifiers as well as knowingly providing false registration information.
