Fifteen former Orlando-area high school football stars officially made NFL rosters on Sunday after teams whittled down their rosters by the deadline for 53-man squads.

Four Orlando-area rookies will begin their first NFL regular season next week.
Defensive tackle Bryan Thomas Jr., who played at Foundation Academy and South Carolina, made the roster for the Jacksonville Jaguars; long snapper Rocco Underwood (Lake Mary/Florida) is with the Philadelphia Eagles; Reggie Virgil (Mount Dora Christian/Miami(Ohio)/Texas Tech) is with Arizona Cardinals and DT Zane Durant (Lake Nona/Penn State) has been placed on injured reserve, designated for return. Durant has a shoulder injury and will have to sit the first four games.

The most veteran area alum, defensive end Trey Hendrickson (Apopka/FAU), enters his 10th NFL season, but first with the Baltimore Ravens, his third NFL team after moving over from Cincinnati.
Seventh-year punter Tommy Townsend (Boone/Tennessee/Florida) is with the Tennessee Titans, his third NFL team.
Sixth-year offensive lineman Stone Forsythe (West Orange/Florida) is also joining his third NFL team, the Carolina Panthers.
Four Orlando high schools are represented by two players. Hendrickson and Philadelphia Eagles defensive tackle Jalen Carter attended Apopka. Forsythe and Indianapolis Colts linebacker Jaylon Carlies attended West Orange. And Los Angeles Rams defensive end Tyler Davis and San Francisco 49ers cornerback Renardo Green were teammates at Wekiva. Thomas and New Orleans Saints linebacker Danny Stuttsman were teammates at Foundation Academy.
