Johnny JeanBaptiste, 36, and Stacia McMillian, 32, were charged with one count of child neglect without great bodily harm after deputies responded to the report of the wandering toddler, officials said.
Deputies arrived and met with a passing driver who noticed the toddler, wearing a diaper and a tank top, walking in the middle of Jones Road.
The driver quickly exited her vehicle and brought the child to safety before calling 911, police said.

Deputies canvassed the area and located a front door open at a residence on Talisi Loop. No one was in the residence, and attempts were made to call the residents listed as living there.
JeanBaptiste was called and hung up on the deputy, while he and McMillian arrived back at the residence in a Toyota Corolla at 12:36 a.m. Deputies said both parents were uncooperative on scene, which led to their arrest and booking into the Osceola County jail.
The Florida Department of Children and Families was notified and a family member took custody of the toddler, police said.
