A 50-year-old woman from Ocoee died early Saturday after a crash at the intersection of North Hiawassee Road and Clarcona Ocoee Road in Orange County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

According to an FHP crash report, the woman was driving a 2016 Lexus IS northbound on Hiawassee at 1:58 a.m. when she suffered a possible medical episode.

The Lexus veered off the roadway and entered a nearby business parking lot. The vehicle continued moving before striking a curb, a fence and later a tree.

The driver was transported to AdventHealth Apopka, where she was later pronounced deceased.

The crash remains under investigation and authorities have not released additional details about the possible medical episode.
