Emergency crews have responded to an aircraft incident near the Space Coast Regional Airport in Titusville on Monday.

The National Transportation Safety Board said it was investigating the crash of a Mooney M20F, which is a four-seat, propeller-driven aircraft.
Titusville police and fire are among those on scene of the reported downed small aircraft on State Road 405 (Columbia Boulevard) between Sisson Road and South Washington Avenue.

“Both eastbound and westbound lanes of Columbia Boulevard are closed while emergency personnel address the incident,” Titusville PD posted to X. “Motorists are encouraged to find alternative routes. Residents and businesses in the area of Sisson Road and Columbia Blvd should expect to have power outages due to that area of the grid being shut off by FPL.”
Valiant Air Command, which operates a museum and lies aircraft out of the airport said that none of their aircraft, crew members, staff or volunteers were involved.
