Universal Orlando has revealed the ninth haunted house for Halloween Horror Nights 2026, and it’s based on a film currently in theaters.

The latest announced maze is Evil Dead Burn, inspired by the film of the same name released earlier this month from director Sebastien Vanicek (“Infested,” “Crocs”). It is part of a franchise launched by “The Evil Dead,” starring Bruce Campbell and directed by Sam Raimi, in 1981.
The HHN house will re-create moments that begin in a secluded vacation home in the woods.
“The nightmare grows more and more fierce as guests venture through the haunted house, encountering ferocious Deadites around every turn before succumbing to the evil forces themselves,” a Universal news release says.
Halloween Horror Nights, an after-hours, extra-ticket event at Universal Studios Florida theme park, runs for 49 select nights between Aug. 28 and Nov. 1.

The Evil Dead Burn house also will be presented at the Universal Studios Hollywood version of Horror Nights, which starts Sept. 3.
HHN plans 10 haunted mazes for Orlando’s 2026 edition. Previously announced houses include mazes based on the original “Hellraiser” trilogy, the fifth season of “Stranger Things” and the Oscar-winning film “Sinners.” Additional houses, original to the event, include Jack & Oddfellow: Chaos & Control, Cybergoria (machines in a cold world), Invasion: Alien Abduction, Madlands: Caged Cannibals, and H.R. Bloodengutz Presents: A Halloween Fright-Tacular.
